Bombay Talkies

I was planning to watch Subha Mudgal and her band Koshish perform at NCPA. But somehow I was stuck in office and couldn't attend that. Then I decided to check out if there was any other event around. I found there was a play at Prithvi theatre, Bombay Talkies, so decided to watch it.
It was about 8 different monologues. 8 different lives ni this one crazy city. From an actress recounting her days of casting couch, a young homosexual recounting his sexual exploitation as a child, a middleman who helps people get things done in government offices, a bright young lady trying to come to terms with her life as just a house wife, a young gujju boy trying to get immigration and settle in Canada, a lonely single mother longing for some affection and the industrialist who wants to exploit the city to fulfill his dreams. It was entertaining to see about so many lives in a single play.
